Zumba Music: My Little Guide to Zumba Songs

Zumba Music: My Little Guide to Zumba Songs

What is Zumba Music?

The great thing about zumba music (the music used in class) is that it can be traditional and modern. This is one of the reasons I love Zumba. When Zumba first started it was nearly all latin style music, but instructors now use other tunes including chart music and hip hop. In my opinion this is a really fantastic way to motivate and inspire people during class.

Most Zumba instructors will keep 70% of the music they use in class international rhythms (like latin style music) and mix up the other 30% with more modern zumba…

Zumba Wear: What I Wear When I get my Zumba on..

If you haven’t guessed I loooove Zumba! from the hot music to the sizzling moves, to the way it makes my body feel. But before I took my first Zumba class, I stood in my closet in a bit of a panic. I envisioned those “what not to wear” people seizing me for looking so out of style that I almost didn’t bother. But I’m so glad I did!

Fitness DVD Likes: My Top Five fitness DVDs

My “get fit in 2011” New Year’s resolution is still hanging on, thanks mostly to:

a) a (skinny no matter what she eats) good friend who asks me about my workouts all the time,
b) the stack of fitness dvds that I ordered on December 31 (deciding that I could indulge all I wanted that night if the dvd’s were on their way/coming to the rescue!).

I find a good fitness dvd is uber-convenient (whenever, wherever, in whatever I happen to be wearing at the moment), affordable, and I’ve been thrilled with the variety – I hadn’t done a…
